

Dean began his career with Santander before joining HSBC, where he worked with high-net-worth clients across the Middle East. He later joined Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, supporting clients across several countries throughout the MENA region on investment strategy and wealth structuring.
His career subsequently transitioned to Santander Private Banking, where he was part of the first cohort of private bankers recruited to help shape the proposition, supporting senior leaders of the bank, whilst advising clients across Surrey and London, with a particular focus on business owners and entrepreneurs, both pre and post business exit.
Drawing on nearly two decades of advisory and wealth management experience, Dean founded Capel Alley Wealth Management to deliver a more personal and strategic approach, built around continuity and long-term client relationships.
Dean specialises in retirement planning, investment advice, inheritance tax mitigation and tax-efficient income structuring, with significant experience advising clients through business exits, retirement transitions and divorce settlements.
A distinguished Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager, he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Dean prides himself on being a trusted adviser and dependable source of information for clients, helping them navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Based between Surrey and the City of London, Dean works closely with solicitors, accountants and other professional advisers to deliver a joined-up approach for clients with more complex planning needs.
Outside of work, he enjoys travel, fitness, reading and golf, as well as spending time with his wife and three children.
