Lorraine Hamlyn

Lorraine brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to Capel Alley, including 20 years as a paraplanner.

She began her career with Norwich Union in 1994, progressing into management before joining Positive Solutions in 2006 as a Training and Competence Supervisor. Her extensive experience has given her a strong understanding of financial planning and the importance of providing clients with clear, carefully considered recommendations.

Working closely with our advisers, Lorraine provides specialist paraplanning and administrative support and oversees the preparation of suitability reports. She helps ensure that recommendations are clearly documented and reflect the client’s circumstances and objectives. Lorraine also liaises with our compliance colleagues to help ensure that the work she supports meets the appropriate regulatory and professional standards.

A graduate of the University of Exeter, Lorraine enjoys travelling and following politics. She is also a passionate supporter of her local football team.
