Our breakdown of the Autumn Budget, pulling out what was announced and what it could mean for you. Produced twice a year, after the Spring and Autumn Budgets.
What the guide covers
It runs through the main changes across personal tax, pensions, savings and investments, capital taxes and property, then sets out the key facts and figures in one place. You get the headline measures alongside the rates, bands and allowances for the year ahead, so you can see how the pieces fit together.
Why it matters to you
This was a Budget of slow burning change. The biggest measures, from frozen tax thresholds to shifts affecting pensions and Inheritance Tax, mostly land in 2027 and beyond. Knowing what is coming now gives you time to plan properly rather than react under pressure.
A note before you read
The guide is general information based on our understanding of the Budget at the time of writing, and rules can change. Your own position depends on your circumstances, so it is worth a conversation before acting on anything in it.
